Ann began her customer service and hospitality journey while in university, working the front desk of the Relais and Chateaux Post Hotel in stunning Lake Louise. The majority of her experience has come from owning her own restaurant/catering company. She has worked on the Shopping Channel doing kitchen oriented sales and Rogers Daytime on the cooking segments. Her vast experience in the customer service and hospitality industry has led her to an exciting new career. For the past three years, Ann has been working as a leisure group manager, organizing and hosting tours around the world.

Day 1

Nov 29

Toronto to Las Vegas Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner

This morning we'll gather at Toronto Pearson for our flight to Las Vegas. Upon arrival you'll be met by a local tour director who is an expert on the area. We’ll travel by coach through the rugged Virgin River Gorge to Zion National Park in Utah. Your accommodations are at Zion Lodge, the only in-park lodging. Join us for our welcome dinner.

Bryce Canyon, UT Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast we'll enjoy some sightseeing in Zion National Park, and after lunch we'll pass through Red Canyon, where the legendary Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch gang would hide from lawmen. You’ll be amazed by the hues and intricate shapes of Bryce Canyon National Park. Settler Ebenezer Bryce, for whom the canyon was named, stated "it's a hell of a place to lose a cow!" After a wonderful day of touring, check into a comfortable hotel located just outside the park and join your fellow passengers for dinner.

Salt Lake City, UT Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Enjoy a morning view of Bryce Canyon and then travel north through the scenic Sevier River Valley. We'll drive past the childhood home of Butch Cassidy as well as Big Candy Mountain, made famous by the Burl Ives folksong. We’ll arrive in Salt Lake City in time for a home-cooked style luncheon at the historic Lion House. This afternoon we’ll enjoy a tour of the city known as the Crossroads of the West. You will visit the main sites including the State Capital, Temple Square, the Avenues, University of Utah and This is the Place Monument. Afterwards we'll check into a 4-star hotel. Dress up a bit tonight as we have planned a special dinner at The Roof Restaurant. After dinner there will be time to stroll through Temple Square to experience the amazing Christmas Lights display.

Salt Lake City, UT Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning we'll take a tour of the Natural History Museum of Utah, located in a stunning new building in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy some free time in the downtown core to window shop for Christmas goodies. After dinner we’re off to the Hale Center Theatre to see a holiday favourite-A Christmas Carol. This timeless classic has been a complete sell-out in Salt Lake City for over 30 years.

Dead Horse Point, UT Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning we have arranged special seating for you to hear the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir's 30 minute weekly broadcast performance. This wonderful combination of music and spoken word is bound to have a holiday theme this time of year. After the performance we travel to see one of the most spectacular scenes in the Southwest, Dead Horse Point State Park. You will see the expanse of Canyonlands National Park stretching to the south with the mighty Colorado River 2,000 feet below. This evening we arrive at Red Cliffs Lodge – a resort with a stunning view near Moab on the banks of the Colorado River. There will be time to visit the Utah Movie Museum, then join your fellow passengers and watch a classic western movie that was filmed where the resort now stands.

Arches National Park & Monument Valley, UT Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning we are off to the nearby Arches National Park. Once there you will learn about the unique geologic forecast that created the highest concentration of natural arches. We'll see the park highlights before travelling south to Blanding where the Anasazi people come alive at the Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum. Tonight's dinner will be followed by a Navajo Nation cultural experience.

Grand Canyon, AZ Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning we’ll meet a Navajo guide and board a 4-wheel drive vehicle for a scenic tour of Monument Valley, the location of scores of famous western films, television programs and commercials. After lunch we travel to Grand Canyon National Park. Join us tonight for an elegant dinner in an historic lodge.

Grand Canyon, AZ Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Enjoy an early morning view of the Grand Canyon. Travel on what was once Route 66 as we head west through northern Arizona. Visit the Route 66 Museum, which highlights the glory days of cross-country automobile travel. Enter Nevada and arrive in the entertainment capital of the world-Las Vegas. After dinner enjoy a show and later you may be tempted to test your skills against Lady Luck.

Las Vegas, NV Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

This morning we will spend some time at the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show. The Las Vegas Convention Center features over 400 vendors from across North America. The rest of the day is free – we suggest taking a stroll down the famous Vegas Strip and admire the beautiful Christmas displays. Join the group this evening for a farewell dinner.

After breakfast transfer to the Las Vegas airport to begin your journey home.
